With memories made and a new owner sought, getting the most value from the sale process requires your boat to be forensically clean - inside and out. Not only will you get more money for her, you’ll sell her much more quickly and have fewer issues during the survey process.

As wel as doing all the areas the buyer will see, we’ll do the areas that the surveyor will go to - engine bay, bilges, cockpit lockers, everywhere.

Once your boat is prepped for the winter, she will need regular attention to keep the worst of the weather off her. This will save you time and money getting her shiny again in the spring, so it’s well worth it.

Or you may want to apply a coat of wax to the hull to keep the streaks off it.

Alongside that, you’ll need to strip back any loose antifoul and prep the boat for a new coat. Don’t leave it to the weekend before Easter to do that!
